Krafton revenue 2025: annual results and platform breakdown
Total revenue increased by 22.8%, while operating profit reached ₩1.05 trillion ($717.5 million). Mobile generated the largest share of revenue, followed by PC and console.
- Mobile: ₩1.7 trillion ($1.1 billion)
- PC: ₩1.1 trillion ($751 million)
- Console: ₩42.8 billion ($29 million)
- Other businesses: ₩358.5 billion ($245 million)
The other-business figure included the consolidated performance of Japanese advertising company ADK Group and adtech firm Neptune. When comparing these figures, note that the reported dollar amounts are shown alongside the original Korean won totals.
PUBG and other games supported growth
The PUBG: Battlegrounds intellectual property recorded its highest annual revenue on PC, rising 16% year over year. Krafton linked stronger user engagement and traffic to collaborations with artists and luxury brands. On mobile, new themed modes, updates and cross-platform collaborations with PC and console contributed to what the company described as record growth.
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) maintained stable performance. The number of paying users increased by 5% for PUBG Mobile and 27% for BGMI, respectively. These figures offer a useful distinction: player activity and paying-user growth are related business measures, but they describe different aspects of a game’s performance.
Inzoi and Mimesis also contributed to revenue growth, with each surpassing one million units sold. Fourth-quarter PC revenue reached ₩287.4 billion ($196.4 million), a 24.4% year-over-year increase.
Development plans and shareholder returns
Krafton said its strategy centers on expanding game franchises with long-term product life cycles and continuing its transition toward becoming an “AI-first company,” an initiative announced in October 2025. The company has 15 projects in development, supported by new creative leadership and small teams.
Its planned development pipeline includes Subnautica 2, Palworld Mobile, Dinkum Together and No Law. These announced projects provide a snapshot of upcoming releases, though the results do not specify launch dates.
Krafton also announced its largest shareholder return program. It plans to distribute ₩300 billion ($205 million) in dividends and repurchase and cancel at least ₩700 billion ($478.3 million) worth of shares. An initial ₩200 billion ($136.6 million) buyback was scheduled to begin on February 10, 2026.
CEO CH Kim said the program reflects Krafton’s commitment to shareholder value. He also highlighted continued game development and strategic global investment, with the aim of creating long-term value through shareholder returns.
