Game Republic New Horizons 2026 adds Rebecca Lautner
Lautner is the second speaker announced for this year’s conference. She will speak with Lewis Packwood, features editor, in a session focused on how Landfall operates and its move into publishing third-party games through Evil Landfall.
At Landfall, Lautner is responsible for brand development, business growth, external partnerships and platform relations. These areas connect a studio’s creative work with its commercial and industry relationships, making her perspective relevant to a discussion about both game development and publishing.
Before joining the Stockholm-based developer, Lautner led a European Union-funded initiative to establish a global network for knowledge exchange and business development in the games industry. Her background spans studio business operations and international industry collaboration.
Topics expected in the Landfall fireside chat
The announced session will address Landfall’s operations and the launch of its publishing division. Game Republic managing director Jamie Sefton said the conversation would also highlight the studio’s success with Peak and its investment in publishing games developed by other teams.
For attendees, the session offers a chance to hear about the business considerations involved in expanding from making games to supporting and publishing third-party titles. The announcement does not provide a detailed agenda, so visitors should check the conference programme for any later updates about session timing or additional topics.
Other speakers and conference details
Lautner joins keynote speaker Ken Kutaragi, widely known as the “Father of the PlayStation.” Game Republic also established an international advisory board in March to support its 2026 conference.
