For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, Roblox reported revenue of $1.4 billion, up 43% year over year. Bookings rose 63% to $2.2 billion. Its net loss was $318 million, compared with $221 million in the same quarter a year earlier.

Across the full fiscal year, the company recorded $4.9 billion in revenue and $6.8 billion in bookings. Its net loss increased to $1.07 billion from $940.6 million in the previous year.

  • Q4 revenue: $1.4 billion, up 43% year over year
  • Q4 bookings: $2.2 billion, up 63%
  • Q4 net loss: $318 million
  • Full-year revenue: $4.9 billion, up 36%
  • Full-year bookings: $6.8 billion, up 55%
  • Full-year net loss: $1.07 billion

When comparing the figures, note that revenue, bookings and net loss are separate financial measures. Roblox said its results exceeded its guidance and long-term targets.

User growth and engagement increased

Roblox reported 144 million daily active users in the fourth quarter, a 69% year-over-year increase. Users spent 35 billion hours on the platform during the quarter, up 88% from the year-earlier period. By the end of the fiscal year, Roblox represented 3.4% of the global gaming content market, according to the company.

Average monthly unique payers rose 94% to 36.7 million. These users spent an average of $20.18 per month, while spending on the in-game currency Robux increased 53%. These metrics help illustrate how user activity and spending contributed to the quarter’s results.

Chat age checks and online safety

Roblox introduced global age checks in early January 2026 for users who want to use the chat feature. As of January 31, 45% of daily active users had completed an age check. Among users who completed the process, 35% were under 13, 38% were 13 to 17, and 27% were over 18.

The initial rollout of mandatory checks began in November 2025 in Australia, New Zealand and the Netherlands. Roblox said 60% of users in those markets had completed age checks by January 31. For families, it is useful to review the platform’s current chat and account settings, as requirements and safety features may change.

Roblox outlook for 2026

Roblox forecast full-year revenue of $6 billion to $6.2 billion and bookings of $8.2 billion to $8.5 billion. Founder and CEO David Baszucki credited the creator community for the platform’s growth, noting that the top 1,000 creators earned an average of $1.3 million in 2025.

Baszucki also outlined goals to connect one billion users and capture 10% of the global gaming market. The company said it plans to pursue those ambitions through continued product innovation, AI-supported content development and a focus on online safety.

What the 2025 results show

The Roblox revenue 2025 figures point to substantial growth in sales, bookings and engagement, alongside a larger reported net loss. The company’s 2026 forecast sets a higher revenue and bookings target, while its progress on age checks and creator earnings remains important context for understanding its next stage of growth.
