Arc Raiders sales have passed 12.4 million copies worldwide, with more than 2.4 million units sold so far in 2026. The extraction shooter also reached a peak of 960,000 concurrent users in January, marking a major milestone for developer Embark Studios and parent company Nexon.

Arc Raiders sales and player numbers
Nexon shared the figures with investors, reporting that the game had sold 10 million copies by the end of December 2025 and 12.4 million copies in total by the time of its update. The difference represents more than 2.4 million additional sales in 2026 to date.
The January peak of 960,000 concurrent users refers to the highest number of people playing at the same time during that month. It is a different measure from total copies sold, which counts units rather than simultaneous players or unique accounts.
For players following the game’s momentum, both figures offer useful context: sales show how widely it has been purchased, while a concurrent-user peak indicates the scale of activity at a particular moment. Neither figure alone describes the game’s day-to-day player count.
Nexon and Embark respond to the milestone
Nexon president and CEO Lee Jeong-hun said the company was pleased with the game’s retention and enthusiasm among players in major markets. He added that the successful October launch, cumulative sales exceeding 12.4 million copies and January’s record peak of 960,000 concurrent users demonstrate the game’s potential to become a major franchise in Nexon’s portfolio.
Lee also said Embark had met players’ expectations by delivering a distinctive experience in an established global genre. Nexon’s broader strategy, he explained, is to grow internationally through new games that build large communities across major markets and platforms.
Embark founder and CEO Patrick Söderlund described the 12.4 million sales figure as a significant achievement and credited the player community. He said player ideas and enthusiasm would continue to help guide the game’s development.
What the Nexon ownership update means
The sales announcement came alongside news that Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) had transferred its Nexon stake to Ayar First Investment Company, a PIF subsidiary. Ayar now holds 88,548,900 shares and 11.7% of the voting rights.
Ayar First Investment Company has also taken over PIF stakes in Capcom, Koei Tecmo, Square Enix and Bandai Namco. Nexon’s Lee had previously called Arc Raiders the company’s “most successful global launch” when the shooter debuted in October.
Why Arc Raiders sales matter
The reported sales and player peak show that Arc Raiders has built substantial reach since launch. For anyone assessing its growth, it is useful to keep the measures separate: the 12.4 million figure is cumulative copies sold, while 960,000 is a January concurrent-user record. Together, these milestones provide a snapshot of the game’s commercial performance and community activity, without implying that every buyer is currently playing.
In short, Arc Raiders sales have topped 12.4 million copies, including more than 2.4 million sold in 2026 so far, as the game continues to attract a large audience.
