CD Projekt 2025 sales and profit results

Sales revenue reached 867 million PLN ($235.2 million), an increase of 9% compared with 2024. Cyberpunk was the main contributor to growth: revenue from the franchise climbed 12% year over year.

Net profit rose by 33.7% to 594 million PLN ($161.4 million), compared with 444.2 million PLN ($120.2 million) in the previous year. These figures show that both revenue and profit increased, although they reflect different measures of company performance.

Cyberpunk releases support revenue growth

Sales of Cyberpunk products benefited from the launch of Cyberpunk Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 and the arrival of the base game on PlayStation subscription services. The Switch 2 release also gave a substantial lift to the company’s goods and materials segment.

That segment recorded a fivefold year-on-year increase, driven by sales of physical game cartridges. For readers comparing the results, this is a separate category from the overall franchise revenue growth and highlights the contribution of physical products.

Investment in future games and new IP

CD Projekt invested more than 513 million PLN ($140 million) in future releases, including The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2. Cyberpunk 2 completed its conceptual phase in April 2025 and has since entered production.

Joint CEO Michał Nowakowski also confirmed that CD Projekt Red Studio is working on a game based on a new intellectual property, codenamed Hadar. He said the team has established the project’s foundations and is defining the world’s distinguishing features and core pillars.

Development work includes building prototypes in Unreal Engine to test selected mechanics and gameplay elements. The project’s world and ideas are expected to continue evolving as the team explores what may be included in the game.

Developer team and sales milestones

The developer headcount grew from 707 in February 2025 to 933 in February 2026. The team allocation was:

  • The Witcher 4: 499 developers
  • Cyberpunk 2: 149 developers
  • Sirius: 71 developers
  • Hadar: 26 developers

In 2025, CD Projekt announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt had surpassed 60 million copies sold. Cyberpunk 2077 exceeded 35 million copies, while Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty passed 10 million.

GOG platform sale

In December, CD Projekt sold the GOG platform to co-founder Michał Kiciński for 90.7 million PLN ($25 million). The transaction was fully financed externally. Kiciński remains the company’s second-largest individual shareholder, with a 10% stake in CD Projekt Red.

What the CD Projekt 2025 sales figures show

CD Projekt 2025 sales increased 9%, with Cyberpunk leading franchise growth and physical Switch 2 cartridge sales helping expand the goods and materials segment. The company also reported higher net profit and continued investing in its next releases. When assessing the results, keep the separate revenue, profit and product-sales measures in mind, as each describes a different part of the business.
