The Krafton games pipeline currently includes 26 projects, with 12 expected to launch within the next two years. The company says this slate is part of a broader effort to build a major franchise beyond PUBG while continuing to develop its established properties.

Krafton games pipeline: 26 projects in development
In its plans for 2026, the South Korean games company outlined a development slate that includes titles at different stages. Among the projects expected within the next two years are Subnautica 2, Palworld Mobile, and No Law. The company has not said in this update that every title has a confirmed release date, so the stated window should be treated as a plan rather than a guarantee.
Krafton describes its goal as creating a “big franchise IP”: a property that can grow beyond one game and reach audiences through different genres, content, and service formats. The intended benefit is sustained growth over time, rather than relying on a single release.
How Krafton plans to select projects
The company says its development process uses early validation and clear decision points. In practical terms, projects are assessed before they move further through development, helping Krafton decide whether to continue investing time and resources.
Krafton also says it prioritizes markets where a core audience can be identified. It plans to use data to evaluate whether a game has the potential to remain relevant over the long term. For players, this approach may mean that some projects change direction or do not proceed if they fail to meet the company’s expectations.
Expanding PUBG and building new franchises
Krafton plans to grow the PUBG franchise through cultural collaborations, service improvements, and user-generated content (UGC) initiatives. The company has also extended the PUBG IP through projects including Black Budget and Blindspot.
CEO CH Kim said Krafton would continue focusing on its core games business while moving into the execution phase for new titles. He also described plans to develop franchise properties through the company’s new-game pipeline and creative leadership, alongside the continued expansion of PUBG as a content platform.
AI ambitions and the Subnautica 2 dispute
Krafton has also outlined an ambition to become an “AI first” company, a direction it first revealed in October 2025. Its current plans involve applying AI technology to game development, while it is also exploring how its game technology could be used in physical AI and robotics.
These plans are unfolding alongside a legal dispute involving the lead developers of Subnautica 2, who Krafton removed last year. The case is a separate issue from the company’s release plans, but it adds context to the development of one of the titles in its upcoming slate.
What to watch in Krafton’s upcoming slate
The number of projects in development shows the scale of Krafton’s ambitions, but release timing and long-term franchise plans will become clearer as individual games advance. For now, Subnautica 2, Palworld Mobile, and No Law are among the named titles to follow. The Krafton games pipeline will be worth watching for both its planned launches and the company’s efforts to create new franchises alongside PUBG.
